I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis in 2013, but have been struggling since 2007. Since my diagnosis, I have struggled to regain my physical and mental health. This blog follows my journey back to health. I not only want to go back to “normal,” I want to be the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ve already lost a total of 29 lbs since 2013, and I’m working to lose another 11 (back to my pre-hypothyroid weight). I’m also starting strength training and exercising (starting slow!). This is to keep me accountable, and inspire others who think it’s not possible to lose weight or be fit with hypothyroidism!
